My sweet blogging friend and New York Times Best-Selling Author, Darlene Schacht, has released a new eBook this week! I adore and wholeheartedly embrace the wisdom that Darlene shares in her new work.
In Darlene Schacht’s new book, The Good Wife’s Guide: Embracing Your Role as Help Meet, she takes us on a journey through the scriptures to daily application of how to be “the good wife.” She includes cleaning schedules, scripture we should post around our home and teaches importance of pattern and order. I’m so excited to get this book! I’m a new wife (just celebrated our year anniversary) and I have the desire to be a Proverbs 31 woman for my husband and our children. I’m ready for changes to be made and foundations to be set in our children’s lives. Thanks for the giveaway!
All the other wonderful wisdom aside, I’d love to read about the household organizational stuff in this book. I keep trying to set schedules for my housework, and each time I do, our life changes so that I’m required to be other places on critical days and I can’t keep up. Rather than adjust, I end up feeling like a failure and going back to my piecemeal ‘what must i do TODAY’ efforts.
